The Little Star

Once upon a time, high up in the sky, there was a tiny star named Lumi. Lumi was the smallest of all the stars in the night sky, but she had the biggest dreams. Every night, she would shine as brightly as she could, hoping that someone would notice her.

One evening, as the sky darkened, Lumi noticed a young girl sitting alone in a field, looking up at the stars. The girl seemed sad, her eyes filled with tears as she gazed at the vast, starry sky.

Lumi felt a tug in her heart. She wanted to help the girl, but being so small, she didn’t think she could make a difference. Still, she gathered all her courage and decided to shine a little brighter that night.

As Lumi shone her brightest, the little girl noticed her. She wiped her tears and smiled softly, feeling a warmth in her heart. "Thank you, little star," the girl whispered, “You made me feel not so alone.”

Lumi beamed with joy, knowing that her light had touched someone, even in a small way. She realized that sometimes, it wasn’t about being the biggest or the brightest. It was about showing up, shining, and offering a little hope to others.

From that night on, Lumi continued to shine brightly, not just for herself, but for anyone who needed a bit of light in the darkness. And every time the little girl looked up at the sky, she would smile and thank Lumi, knowing that no matter how small, her light would always be there.
