Action and destiny

Two traveling angels landed in the house of a rich family to spend the night.

 This family behaved inappropriately and did not let the two angels into their luxurious guest house.  Rather, they gave them the house under the cold floor. The old angel saw a crack in the wall under the floor and repaired it.  When the young angel asked him why he did such a thing, he replied ((All things are not as they do!))

 The next night, these two angels went to the house of a poor but very hospitable family.  After eating a small meal, the poor man and woman gave their bed to two angels.

 The next morning the angels saw a poor man and woman crying, their cow, which was their only means of living, was dead in the field.

 The young angel got angry and asked the old angel: Why did you let this happen?

 The previous family had everything and yet you helped them, but this family has little property and you let their cow die too!

 The old angel replied: When we were in the basement of that rich family, I saw that there was a bag of gold in the crack in the wall.  Since they were very greedy and mean-spirited, I closed the gap and hid the gold from their sight.  Last night when I was sleeping in the bed of a poor man and woman, the angel of death came to take the poor woman's life and I gave him that cow instead!
