How to activate antivirus in Windows 7.8.10.11

Activating antivirus software varies slightly across different versions of Windows. Here’s a quick guide for activating antivirus on Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11. 

Windows 7
1. Open Control Panel: - Click the Start button and select Control Panel.
2. System and Security: - Click on System and Security.
3. Security Center: - Click on Action Center (or Security Center).
4. Turn on Antivirus: - Look for your antivirus program under Security. Click on it to activate or re-enable it.

Windows 8
1. Open Settings: - Swipe in from the right edge of the screen or press Windows + I.
2. Change PC Settings: - Click on Change PC settings at the bottom.
3. Update and Recovery: - Select Update and Recovery and then Windows Update.
4. Windows Defender: - Ensure Windows Defender is turned on if you’re using it as your antivirus. Click on Device security to manage it.

Windows 10
1. Open Settings: - Click the Start button and select Settings (gear icon).
2. Update & Security: - Click on Update & Security.
3. Windows Security: - Select Windows Security from the sidebar.
4. Virus & Threat Protection: - Click on Virus & threat protection. From here, you can enable or manage your antivirus settings.

1. Open Settings: - Click the Start button and select Settings (gear icon).
2. Privacy & Security: - In the sidebar, select Privacy & Security.
3. Windows Security: - Click on Windows Security.
4. Virus & Threat Protection: - Click on Virus & threat protection to check settings and enable your antivirus.
