This true story of a woman named Vesna Volovich is one of the strangest survival stories in history. Vesna, a Yugoslavian flight attendant in the 1970s, boarded a Yugoslav Airlines flight on a cold day in 1972 along with 28 other passengers and crew. The destination of this flight was from Stockholm to Belgrade. Everything was going well when suddenly, in the middle of the flight and at an altitude of nearly 10,000 meters, a huge explosion tore the plane apart. Vesna, which was in the rear of the plane, was suddenly launched into the open air. At that moment, he only had a few seconds to realize that he was falling at a very high altitude. In this situation, the body, which was tearing under the pressure of the wind and the speed of the fall, was rapidly coming towards the ground. Many believed that surviving in such conditions could be nothing but a miracle. After a few terrifying minutes, Vesna's lifeless body landed on the snow-covered slopes of a mountain in Czechoslovakia. A farmer who heard the crash ran to her and realized that the woman was still alive. He took Vesna to the hospital with care, where the doctors looked at her in amazement. He had several serious injuries: his skull was fractured, his spine was damaged, and both of his legs were severely damaged. But he was still breathing and he was alive in disbelief. After months of treatment, Vesna gradually recovered and was able to return to life. His story quickly spread around the world and his name was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the person who survived the highest free fall without a parachute. After this incident, Vesna became a symbol of human hope and will and continued to live. Vesna's story shows that even in the most difficult situations, hope and luck can work miracles.
