Cleaning your laptop is important for maintenance! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you out:

What You'll Need:

- Microfiber cloths

- Isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher)

- Compressed air canister

- Soft brush (optional)

- Distilled water

Steps to Clean Your Laptop:

1. Power Down

Turn off your laptop and unplug it from any power source. If possible, remove the battery.

2. External Surface Wipe

- Dampen a microfiber cloth with a mix of 50% isopropyl alcohol and 50% distilled water. - Gently wipe the laptop's exterior, including the lid and base.

3. Keyboard Cleaning

- Use a canister of compressed air to blow out dust and debris between the keys.  - For grime, use a slightly dampened cloth or a soft brush to clean the keys.

4. Screen Cleaning

- Use a separate microfiber cloth (dry or slightly dampened) to clean the screen, avoiding any harsh chemicals.

- Wipe in gentle, circular motions.

5. Ports and Vents

- Use compressed air to clean out ports and vents, removing dust buildup that can cause overheating.

6. Final Wipe Down

- Go over the laptop's surfaces one last time with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.

Tips:

- Frequency: Clean your laptop every few months or as needed based on usage.

- Avoid: Don't use paper towels or rough materials that can scratch surfaces.

Happy cleaning!
