King's Palace(Part1)

In ancient Eastern legends, it is told that one of the great kings decided to build a magnificent palace to immortalize his name and reign. He wanted the main hall of this palace to be column-free while still being grand and majestic. However, after years of work, effort, and calculations, no one succeeded in constructing the ceiling of the main hall, and many ambitious architects lost their lives in the attempt. The king's failure left him deeply depressed and furious until it was finally revealed that an exceptional and legendary architect named Soomar was capable of accomplishing this task.

Eventually, Soomar was found, and the work was entrusted to him. He conceived a new design and raised the mythical palace of Khornak almost to the ceiling, astonishing and impressing everyone. However, just as the walls reached under the ceiling, Soomar vanished, leaving the construction of the Khornak palace incomplete.

They searched for him for a long time, but no trace of him was found. The angry and frustrated king ordered his arrest, trial, and execution. After seven years, Soomar reappeared.

He came of his own accord, bound and in chains, before the king, who commanded that he be executed. However, Soomar requested to be heard before his death and explained that the reason for the previous architects' failures in raising the column-free ceiling was that the ground would sink under the pressure of the walls and due to natural causes. He elaborated that if the ceiling were built immediately after the walls were raised, the ground's settling would eventually cause the ceiling to crack and collapse, meaning the palace would not be eternal…
