The king and the choice of wife

The king decided to place his son on the throne, but according to the laws of the country, the king must be married.  The father ordered to gather a hundred beautiful girls to choose a wife for his son. 

 Then he gathered all the girls in a hall and gave each of them a small seed and said:

 During the next three months, which is spring, whoever grows the most beautiful flower with this seed will become my bride. 

 The girls started working from the next day and among them was a poor girl who lived in the village.  With the advice of the farmers of his village, he planted the seeds in a pot, but at the end of 90 days, no flowers grew.  Many people said not to go to the final meeting. 

 _ But he said: I don't want to be considered both a failure and a coward!  On the promised day, the king saw that 99 girls came each with beautiful flowers, then he asked the village girl the reason and heard the answer directly.

 Then he told everyone that my daughter-in-law is this village girl!  My intention was to find the most honest girl!  All the flower seeds I gave you could not be planted, but you all cheated and brought other flowers, except this girl who brought the truth.
