2. Breathe Properly: Practice rhythmic breathing. Inhale through your mouth when your head is out of the water and exhale through your nose when it’s submerged. 

3. Body Position: Keep your body flat and horizontal in the water. It helps reduce drag! 

4. Use Your Core: Engage your core for better balance and propulsion. 

5. Kick Efficiently: Practice gentle, steady kicks from the hips rather than the knees. 

6. Arm Technique: For freestyle, reach forward with your hand and pull through the water with each stroke. 

7. Practice Floating: Learning to float helps build confidence and makes you more comfortable in the water. 

8. Start Slowly: Begin with short distances and gradually increase your time and distance as you get more comfortable.
