My name is saye(means of shadow), I’m 33 years old, and my roots are deeply tied to the scorching south and the cool mountain regions of Hamedan. My father is from Abadan, a man of the land of palm trees and the roaring waters of the Arvand River. My mother is Lur, a woman from the majestic slopes of towering mountains. This connection between two contrasting climates—the burning heat of the south and the serene coolness of the mountains—has shaped a significant part of who I am.

In the sweltering summers of Abadan, where temperatures often soared above 40 degrees Celsius, our family would seek refuge in the breezy mountains of Hamedan. For me, Hamedan was a land of lush gardens, sprawling farmlands, and playful afternoons among the sheep and goats that roamed freely through the fields.

One of our frequent destinations was the town of Samen, where I spent most of my summers. The old, rural families of this area, deeply rooted in their traditions, brought a world of mystical tales and legends into my life. These stories, interwoven with superstition and ancient beliefs, sparked my early fascination with the supernatural and the architectural wonders of the past.

Now, years later, I wish to share with you my personal experiences, the mythical stories, and the heritage I carry from this town and its people. Together, we can embark on a journey into the depths of history and the rich world of ancient traditions.
